On your iPhone

Kin, without opening Kin.

What’s next on your Lock Screen, the time to leave in the Dynamic Island, the shopping list one sentence away.

An illustration — not a screenshot.

Widgets that keep up

Today, Next up and your shopping lists on the Home Screen; the next event and your tasks on the Lock Screen. When someone in the family changes something, the widget catches up shortly, without you opening Kin — and the small ones show on the CarPlay Dashboard too.

Time to leave

Turn it on for an event with a place, and Kin works out the journey with Apple Maps, from where you are or from a place you’ve saved. A Live Activity counts down to when you need to go, then gets out of the way when the event starts.

Who’s driving

Pick who does the drop-off and who does the pickup. Only the driver gets the reminder to leave; everyone else sees who’s on it.

Wake me for this

For the few things that must not be missed, Kin sets a real alarm. It rings for the people the event is for, and stopping it on your iPhone stops it on your iPad too.

Ask Siri

“Add to my Kin shopping list.” Siri asks what, you say “milk”, and it’s on the list — with the phone locked, or in the car.

Your Focus, respected

Add a Kin filter to your Work Focus and set it to “Only me”: while you’re working, Kin and its widgets show just your tasks and events. A “Wake me for this” alarm still rings.

iPhone only for now; Android comes later. Live Activities, alarms and widgets that catch up on their own need iOS 26.

Kin isn’t open yet.
