Bring in the calendars you already keep
Import an .ics file, or subscribe to a calendar by URL and let Kin re-fetch it every hour. Subscription URLs are stored encrypted and fetched by our server, never by your phone.
Connect Google or Outlook — read-only
Link a Google or Microsoft account and its events appear beside your family’s. Kin asks for read access only: it cannot create, edit or delete anything in your outside calendar. It syncs hourly, or whenever you pull to refresh, and disconnecting removes the events it brought in.
Write it the way you’d say it
Type "dentist thursday half four" and Kin drafts the event for you to check. That one is an AI feature: off until the circle owner turns it on, and it draws on the family’s shared budget of 100 AI actions a month.
Reminders that reach the right people
Set a reminder on an event and it notifies the people it concerns, not everyone.
