Repeats every Sunday
Repeat it the way it actually repeats
Seven presets for the common cases, and a full custom builder for the rest — every N days or weeks, on chosen weekdays, ending on a date or after a count. You can also count the next one from when it was actually done rather than when it was due, which is the difference between "water the plants weekly" and "water the plants every Sunday".
Break a big one into subtasks
A task can carry a checklist, and the parent shows a progress ring as the pieces get ticked. Tick the last subtask and the parent closes itself.
A photo when it’s done
Attach photos on completion — useful for "yes, the room really is tidy", and for the jobs someone else has to inspect later.
Private, or the family’s business
A task is visible to the circle or only to you. Private tasks are never broadcast to anyone else’s device.
Ask, don’t just do
Some things a child can do outright; some they can ask to do, and a parent approves. The same mechanism covers edits that need a second pair of eyes.
